Sites for Flights: Men: + to 3.9 handicap (Bloomington/SunRiver) Women, Super Senior & Men 4.0 and higher handicap (Sky Mountain/Bloomington), Seniors (SunRiver, Sky Mountain)
Site: Bloomington, Sky Mountain and SunRiver (Players will play two of the three courses)
Practice Rounds: Practice rounds at Sky Mountain and SunRiver may be scheduled at any time at the course rates. Practice Rounds at Bloomington CC are avaiable in the afternoons on March 15-16 at a rate of $60. Call the proshop for times.
Tee Times: The tee time for both days at all courses is 9:00am. Tee times will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the event date.
Entry Fee: $170. Carts and range balls are included in entry fee.
Entry Deadline: March 12, 2018 @ 4:00pm
Field Size: Limited to 250 players
Flight Information: The field will be broken into flights as determined using the Handicap Index as of March 1st. Flights will be exclusively gross or net, this info will be sent in the pre-tournament email. Handicaps for the event will be calculated from the March 1 revision.
Eligibility: Winterchamps is open to all UGA members 18 years of age and older. Junior players with Handicap Indexes 9.9 or better will also be eligible to play. Senior players (50+) and Super Seniors (65+) need to be the respective age or older by the first day of competition.
Format: 36 hole stroke play using a modified stableford format. Scoring will be as follows:
- Double Bogey or worse - 0 points
- Bogey - 1 point
- Par - 2 points
- Birdie - 4 points
- Eagle - 6 points
- Double Eagle - 8 points
**All players will be required to pick up without finishing the hole once they have reached bogey. Players in the net divisions will be required to pick up when they reach net bogey.
TIES: If there is a tie for any of the division titles (Men's, Senior, Super Senior, Women) a hole by hole playoff will follow the second round.
Refunds and withdrawals: If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancelation fee. After the deadline the player will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws/no-shows on the day of the event. A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day.

HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS - The UGA reserves the right to adjust a player’s handicap prior to or during any net competition, based upon previous performances in UGA events (See section 9-3 in USGA Handicap Manual). If a player shoots significantly better than their handicap index, that player’s course handicap may be subject to reduction in current or future net events. The UGA may review net scores that meet the requirements below.
Course Handicap 0-5: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
Course Handicap 6-12: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
Course Handicap 13-21: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -2 strokes or greater
Course Handicap 22-30: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -3 strokes or greater
30 or Greater: Will be reviewed of their net differential is -4 strokes or greater
