Oakridge CC Wins for Third Straight Year

Millcreek, UT – Oakridge Country Club did it again as they snagged their third Private Club Super-Senior 8-man Team Championship in a row with a 10-8 victory over Willow Creek Country Club Wednesday afternoon at Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club.
Led behind the strong performance of York Chandler, Oakridge CC’s No. 3 player, the defending champions won two out of their four individual matches: Dean Cottle (2.5) v. Bob Jordan (0.5) and Chandler (3) v. Don Kuhlman (0). With only grabbing a half-point in the other two individual matches, Oakridge CC gained their two-point victory by winning the four-ball matches 4-2.
In a good spirited match high amongst the Wasatch Front, the two teams left the course with a sense of accomplishment on such a great year.
