Riverside CC Professional Chris Moody Qualifies for 2017 PGA Championship

Local PGA Golf Professional, Chris Moody of Riverside Country Club in Provo, Utah, will be fulfilling a lifelong dream by teeing it up at the 2017 PGA Championship. Moody was one of 20 PGA club professionals to qualify for the PGA Championship August 10-13 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will compete alongside Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth and some of the greatest golfers in the world in a Major Championship.
Competing on TOUR each week is the primary job of professional golfers; however, Moody is a PGA Assistant Professional and his job responsibilities are vastly different than a PGA TOUR player. His responsibilities consist of managing an entire facility, overseeing member programs and executing player development programs, among other professional duties. Unlike PGA TOUR players, Moody must make the necessary arrangements to ensure his everyday responsibilities at Riverside Country Club are covered, so he can compete on the International stage at Quail Hollow.
