UNLV In Driver’s Seat at Cougar Classsic
UNLV took a seven stroke lead on the field going into the final round of the Ping Cougar Classic being held this weekend at Riverside Country Club in Provo.
BYU and Utah are tied for eighth place and seem unlikely to be able to win, trailing by 17 shots.
UNLV’s Kevin Penner is the leading individual with rounds of 67-68-135, a nine under par tally, but only two ahead of Alex Edfort of Pacific who shot 68-69-137.
BYU’s Zac Blair is tied for fourth with rounds of 71-69-140.
