Sun River Am To Include Regular and Senior PPR Divisions
The Sun River Senior Amateur began as a UGA Senior Player Performance tournament, but this year it will expand to include a regular UGA Player Performance division.
The tournament will be held April 8th and 9th and the entry fee is $140, which includes carts, lunch on the first day, and merchandise prizes. Entry can be made by credit card at 435-986-001, and or by check at Sun River Golf Club, 4210 Bluegrass Way, St. Georg,e Utah, 84790. All entries must include the player’s GHIN number and age for those in the senior divisions.
The seniors will be divided into flights by age groups, and the regular amateur side will include championship and First Flight divisions.
Sun River head professional Neil Economy said, “The Sun River Amateur has been a senior tournament the past two years, and the added PPR regular division this year is thrilling for us. We look forward to a very strong and competitive field.”
A field of 120 or more participants will constitute a double crossover tee timed start, 120 or less will be an 8:30 shotgun. Call the pro shop two days before the event for tee times and pairings.
