Strong Weber State Team Leads Del Walker Invitational
Kurt Owen shot a five under par first round score and Alex Sutton played steady in both rounds to lead Weber State to the first day lead in the Del Walker Invitational at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach, California.
The lead is tenuous with five teams within ten shots of Weber going into the final round today.
Weber State has a strong team composed of all Utah players. Owen and Sutton stand at three over par, Keaton Woodland is at five over, Nick Despain is at seven over, Casey Halliday is at nine over, and Matt Wahlen is at 11 over, but he had an opening round of even par to help the team score.
