Winterchamps Senior Champion Brigham Gibbs isn’t doing himself any favors.

In an interview with Utah Golf Radio host Paul Pugmire, Gibbs, a former professional golfer said, “It’s fun just trying to keep a low profile.”

Winning Utah Golf Association championships isn’t helping his cause.

Last season Gibbs teamed with fellow Country Club member Jon Wright to win the UGA’s Four-Ball Championship. Gibbs has now added Winterchamps Senior Champion to his low profile.

Playing SunRiver Golf Club and Sky Mountain Golf Course, Gibbs recorded a 37-47 – 84 Modified Stableford point total to take home his second UGA Champion’s medal.

Gibbs recorded the highest final-round point total of 47and along the way he, “…hit some good shots and putted well at Sky Mountain,” admitted Gibbs.

Kurt Jamison (83 points), defending champion Kirk Siddens (82 points), St. George Amateur Senior champ Randy Hicken (81 points) and Sand Hollow Amateur champion Ron Davis (78 points) rounded-out the top five of the highly competitive Senior 1 division.

Winterchamps Senior Division Winners:

Senior 2: David Turner 35-38 – 73 SunRiver/Bloomington

Senior 3: Robert Anderson 27-39 SunRiver/Sky Mountain
