Dean Wilson Shoots 64, Jumps Into Fourth Place at Zurich Classic
Former BYU player and Utah Open winner Dean Wilson shot the best round of the Zurich Classic in New Orleans Friday and leaped from 81st place to a tie for fourth going into today’s third round.
He shot a 64 at the TPC Louisiana after a first round of 73 and trails leader Bubba Watson by only three shots. He had eight birdies and no bogeys. The event is being televised on CBS beginning at 1 p.m.
Danny Summerhays, the other Utahn of interest, missed the cut after shooting rounds of 76-74-150.
