BYU Women Lead Utah Contingent in Cowboy Classic

Four women’s collegiate golf teams from Utah are competing in the Cowboy Classic being held at Ocotillo golf course in Arizona.
 
After two rounds Portland State is 17 shots ahead of second place New Mexico State. BYU is in fifth place, but only 11 shots out of second place. The other Utah teams, Southern Utah University, Weber State, and Utah Valley are in the bottom third of the 23 team field.

The top ten team scores going into the final round are as follows:
1- Portland State, +5

3- UTEP, +26
4- Northern Arizona, +30
5- BYU, +33
6- UC Riverside, +37
7- Wyoming, Boise State, +40
9- Seattle, +46
10- Montana, +47
