Blair Shoots Final Round 65 for Medalist Honors at Cougar Classic, Colorado State Wins Team Title

BYU’s Zac Blair shot a seven under par 65 to win individual medalist honors at the Cougar Classic, and although that helped the Cougars to their best round of the tournament they finished in sixth place.
 
Colorado State shot 275 the final day, the best round of all teams for the tournament, and they won by four shots over UNLV.
 
Utah turned in one of its strongest showings in recent years at the Cougar event, finishing in second place and only eight shots behind the Cougars. Four Utah golfers shot within one shot of each other for the three rounds.
 
Utah State also finished strong with Ben Schilleman shooting a final round 67 and Tyson McFarland shooting 68, but the Aggies finished three shots behind Weber State. Nick Despain led the Wildcats with a final round 70.
