Jacob graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a major in Kinesiology and received his Masters Degree in Sport Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jacob’s previous golf experience includes the Tennessee Golf Association as a Boatwright Intern and as a Tournament Director with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and, of course, is a big Packer fan. He grew up in Pulaski, a small town near Green Bay, and graduated from Pulaski High School. His parents are teachers in the Pulaski school district. Jacob is married to Heather Gibely who he met while working in Florida.  

 

Kelsey Chugg

Kelsey Chugg, a four-time Utah State Women’s Amateur champion, and a graduate of Weber State University, joined the Utah Golf Association staff in 2014 and serves as the Membership Director.

She played collegiate golf at Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma before transferring to Weber State where she played on the golf team and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013. She was Academic and Athletic All-American for three years. She was born in Ogden, but grew up in California, Washington and Arizona. 


 

Lisa Imamura

Lisa Joined the staff of the UGA in June of 2010 after serving as the first-assistant golf professional Rose Park GC for the past ten years.  Prior to working in the golf business Lisa was a full-time auditor and won two Utah Women’s State Amateur titles.  Lisa and her husband Kirk and have two sons Mitch and Trey.

 

 

 

Shauna Newren

Shauna has worked for the UGA since April of 2006.  Shauna is responsible for processing our individual membership renewals as well as providing administrative support for the entire UGA staff.  Shauna is married to Ron Newren.

 

 

Beaux Yenchik

Media and Communications Intern

Beaux Yenchik is a native boy, having graduated from Olympus High School.  Growing up, he worked several years at the Country Club of Salt Lake as a bag boy and caddie.

He recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications from Dixie State University. While at college, he covered many of the men and women's golf tournaments as a staff writer for DSU's student newspaper. Following graduation, he covered high school sports in southern Utah for St. George News. 

Beaux is married to Lauren Yenchik and the two of them are expecting their first child this summer. 

Easton Folster

Director of Rules and Competitions

Folster has spent the past three years as the Director of Rules and Competitions for the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, overseeing all tournament operations, supervising course rating operations and serving as head Rules official of specific SCAGA championships and USGA qualifiers.

Prior to the start of his professional career working in the golf industry, Easton was a collegiate soccer player for Brigham Young University before earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Campbell University in North Carolina.  Less than two years later, Folster earned a Master of Professional Studies Degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.  During his time in graduate school, Easton worked in the athletic departments at both Georgetown University and George Washington University.
