The USGA serves the game most visibly through the conduct of its national championships. Together with The R&A, the Association provides governance for the game worldwide, jointly administering the Rules of Golf, establishing equipment standards, and formulating the Rules of Amateur Status. The Association also maintains the USGA Handicap and Course Rating Systems, develops and promotes sustainable golf course management practices, and celebrates the history of the game.


 It is the Mission of the Utah Section PGA to be a leader in promoting the enjoyment of and involvement in the game of golf. The Utah Section PGA seeks to be a strong and prominent organization within the golf community by providing quality programs and services to both PGA Members and others


As the official publication of the Utah Golf Association, Fairways magazine is mailed directly to the homes of Utah Golf Association members four times a year. It is the only state-wide publication dedicated to the game of golf and the golfing lifestyle.    

The Utah Junior Golf Association is dedicated to provide competitive and developmental opportunities for boys and girls in all age groups, to provide an environment conducive toimprovement, to encourage excellence, and to promote friendship, sportsmanship and citizenship through the game of golf.


The First Tee of Utah's mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America is the professional association for the men and women who manage and maintain the game’s most valuable resource — the golf course. Today, GCSAA and its members are recognized by the golf industry as one of the key contributors in elevating the game and business to its current state.

The Golf Alliance for Utah (GAU) was formed consisting of Utah's major allied golf organizations an golf facilities.  The GAU is tasked with championing the economic, environmental, recreational and lifestyle assets of the game of golf in Utah.


The National High School Golf Association (NHSGA) is dedicated to the growth and recognition of high school golf. was developed to untie high school golfers nationally by providing national high school golf rankings, showcasing junior tournaments available, and providing access to unbiased information on college recruiting, coaching and equipment discounts.

The National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) is the governing body for collegiate club golf. Our mission is to ensure that every college student has the opportunity to play golf in college. We achieve this mission through the coordination and regulation of competition locally and nationally.
