Cooper Nelson Secures his Victory Today at Hobble Creek Golf Course
Today’s Qualifier was hosted at Hobble Creek Golf Course. Where you will not be disappointed by amazing views. The weather was great for some amazing golf. We had 80 competitors today battling for 11 spots and 2 alternates. As our medalist for today, Cooper Nelson came in with a -3(68) score to have the lowest round of today. He only had one bogey for the day with one eagle and two birdies to seal the deal.
The 126th State Amateur will be hosted at Ogden Golf & Country Club on July 8-13. Cooper Nelson with a score of -3(68) secured his victory at Hobble Creek Golf Course as well as the 11 other competitors.
The cut came in at +1(72) as the 11 players qualified for the State Amateur this year will be preparing for the upcoming weeks to compete in the 126th State Amateur.
