Wasatch Mountain Qualifier Ends with 2 Co-Medalists
Wasatch Mountain Golf Course hosted today’s State Amateur Qualifier where Eric Anderson and Devin Andrews shared the medalist title. Both performed phenomenally ending the day -6 (66) and solidified their spot in the State Amateur Championship at Ogden Country Club.
Our team was able to get some insight from Eric Anderson as to what lead to his success today, “It was all great putting”. He recalled that he only putted 27 times across the 18 holes. As we know, puts can make all the difference in a tournament. We had 11 players secure their spots and the last spot was secured in a 3 person playoff. Derek Leetham claimed that last spot and will be at Ogden Country Club with our other 11 qualifiers.
