Tyler Ewell and Brogan Bennett Tie for First at Eagle Mountain Golf Course

Today’s golf tournament at Eagle Mountain Golf Course in Brigham City showcased remarkable performances, culminating in a tie for first place. Tyler Ewell and Brogan Bennett both delivered impressive rounds, each finishing with a score of 66, ending at -5.
In a post-tournament interview, Brogan Bennett shared that his success stemmed from a strategy of minimizing mistakes. “My main goal wasn’t to shoot the least amount of strokes but to focus on not making mistakes,” Brogan explained. “It’s better to be safe than sorry.”
Meanwhile, Tyler Ewell attributed his strong performance to exceptional putting. His proficiency on the greens was a key factor in his ability to match Brogan’s score.
The shared victory by Tyler and Brogan not only highlights the different approaches to achieving success on the course but also secures their spots in the 126th Utah State Amateur Championship. Both golfers will compete at Ogden Golf & Country Club from July 8 -13, where they aim to continue their impressive performances.
