What is the Goddard Cup?

This event was named in memory of Jeannie Goddard, to honor a woman who has done so much for women’s golf in Utah.

The top six amateurs will represent the UGA and six professionals will represent the Utah Section PGA. Participants will play Foursomes in the morning and a concurrent singles and four-ball match in the afternoon.

UGA Selection Process

Each team member must agree to participate in all functions relating to the Goddard Cup Matches and must be current members of the UGA. The selection process will emphasis current UGA Champions and WPPR rankings.

The UGA will only select players with the unquestioned ability to appropriately represent the UGA with character, sportsmanship, and integrity. Primary consideration for selection will be UGA Champions and player performance rankings. The UGA Competitions Committee has the right to exclude any player should they not meet the standards of conduct found in Rule 1.2 of the Rules of Golf or should the UGA competitions committee find they are deficient in character, sportsmanship or integrity.
